Call for Papers on „Governance and Leadership“

This Call for Papers for the special issue "Higher Education Governance and Leadership: Internal and Organizational Perspectives"of the journal Beiträge zur Hochschulforschung is dedicated to the role and transformation of leadership and governance mechanisms in higher education institutions. In the context of academic reforms, inclusivity, and the dynamic needs of students and society, it focuses on the complex interplay between governance and leadership structures. We invite researchers, academics, administrators, and practitioners to submit their original research papers, case studies, and theoretical perspectives that delve into various aspects of governance and leadership.
Various types of manuscripts of different orientation and length are welcome, in English or German: Research articles (quantitative or qualitative studies), research notes as well as insights into practice. Formatting details are in the "Instructions for Authors".

Editors of the issue are Prof. Dr. Isabell Welpe (Bavarian State Institute for Higher Education Research and Planning, IHF), Prof. Dr. Attila Pausits (University for Continuing Education Krems, Austria) and Dr. Thorsten Lenz (Bavarian State Institute for Higher Education Research and Planning, IHF).
